Waiheke Distilling Co. is a multi-generational family-owned and operated boutique distillery. Pure and natural botanicals are at the heart of our spirits. Our spray-free bee friendly garden; a potpourri of wild flavours and botanicals, inspire our beverages. Waiheke Distilling Co’s philosophy is to hero the local produce that grows here to deliver a distinctly Waiheke flavour. We handcraft and bottle all our products onsite at our boutique distillery. The team craft small batches and use the best produce we can grow, harvest or source.

Waiheke Roots

Cowes Bay (Pikau Bay) has long been a favoured getaway, attracting day trippers since the 1800s via steamer boats and summer regattas. The island's first post office opened here in 1865, and from 1890 to the 1960s, it was known for its hospitality, featuring a beachside hotel and a dance pavilion built in 1906. Our brand is inspired by a windswept Pohutukawa tree, photographed in 1900 in the bay below us, that majestic tree remains there today as testament to the enduring rugged beauty of Pikau.

Botanicals are the ‘heart and soul’ of our artisan range. This premium boutique botanical vodka packs a punch, balancing Aotearoa’s native pepper (horopito) with pink peppercorn, Macadamia and subtle lime zest.
